Do you charge a commission on orders?


We do not charge a commission on orders. MyTable Chefs only pay a 2.5% payment processing fee for credit and debit card payments made by clients.




What are Chef Success Plans? How much do they cost?


Our number one goal at MyTable is to see our Chef Community succeed in each of their personal endeavors. To best support our MyTable Chefs, we have developed comprehensive Chef Success Plans that gain Chefs access to the MyTable platform as well as other business growth tools. Instead of charging commissions on orders, Chefs pay a small monthly fee (as low as $5.99/month) to be a Chef in the MyTable Community. You can read more about our Chef Success Plans here




Do you guarantee that Chefs find new customers using your app?


We actively promote our Chef Community and the talented professionals that cook on our platform, but do not guarantee new customers to our Chefs. As much as we'd like the power to grant all of our Chefs as many customers as they'd like, we provide tools for Chefs to use to run a more rewarding and professional business while growing their own clientele; whether through the MyTable platform or offline.




How do I become a MyTable Chef?


The process to become a Chef in the MyTable Community is fairly straight forward.

  1. Submit an application online here
  2. You will receive an email with next steps within 1-3 business days which will include scheduling an official phone call with a Chef Success Manager.
  3. Select the Chef Success Plan that best suits your needs.
  4. Pass a mandatory background assessment.
Upon successful completion of the background check, get onboarded with your very own Chef Success Manager and launch your MyTable business!




What services do MyTable Chefs offer?


The Chefs in our community offer different services to meet a variety of client needs. This includes:

  • Meal Prep: A MyTable Chef prepares multiple days worth of meals to help prep food for their clients on a weekly basis.
  • Dinner Experiences: One-off dinners prepared for clients and their guests with an aim of bringing restaurant quality meals and experiences into the clients home.
  • Cooking Classes: Offer unique lessons on how to cook delicious meals virtually or in a clients home.
  • Large Party & Catered Events: Food preparation for more formal events and gatherings; typically of 25+ people.




How do you support your Chef community?


We take a Chef first approach. Our mission is to support the growth of the Chef's in our community. Each MyTable Chef is their own independent business owner; with their own brand, passion, and strategy to providing meaningful client engagements. To best support our Chefs, we offer a number of different tools and programs to help our Chefs grow their business. First, we provide and offer access to a dedicated Chef Success Manager who will act as your very own consultant for your personal chef business. You can consult with your Chef Success Manager on customer acquisition strategies, marketing techniques, financial management tips, and more.
